My deep, dark secret.

I just saw on the twitter today that Mr. Kevin Smith is having a little contest to see who can animate the best battle twixt Batman and Darth Vader. (The deadline is today...I'm late to the party.)
I love Batman but drawing Vader proved to be the hitch in my plans.
Sigh.
Sassquach goes to SFIAAFF: Nice Girls Crew

I went to the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival (whew! mouthful) to catch one of fellow blogger Lynn Chen's movies. (One of many she had showing.)
I cannot overemphasize how delighted I was with the Nice Girls Crew. There is a lot of potential in this idea. I'd tune in to network television every week for this kind of programming! Cross your fingers, internet! Perhaps there will be more. Much more!
There are two more showings this week, March 15th at 4:30 and March 17th at 8pm. Get your tickets here.
Party Conversations: Cheese Facts

My party ancedotes get a little distracted next to the cheese platter.
Who wants this dog? (Digby edition)

We've been fostering a six-month old Queensland heeler. Someone shaved his head right before we got him, so he looks like a little dog in a fat suit. Friendliest little puppy ever, plus he feels like a teddy bear when you hug him. Go here for adoption info.
We have been calling him Digby, Diggs, and Taye Diggs.
