Holy close-up shots, Batman!

I enjoyed Les Mis, but holy snap...every song is shot mostly with SUPER DUPER CLOSE UPS SO IT'S LIKE THEY'RE SINGING RIGHT IN YOUR FACE CAN YOU FEEL THE FEELINGS?
