Vampires! Oh my...

A while ago, I volunteered to help my pal Mark with his Kickstarter campaign for Dracula: Son of the Dragon. Folks could buy a little vampire drawing for eight bucks or three for twenty.

A surprising number of people took advantage of the offer, so I've spent the last week drawing vampires. There were some interesting requests.

I liked them so much I had Paul make a couple of the drawings into stickers.

Vlad to Meet You. Vampire Hammer. (My favorites.)

Elephant Vampire. (Paul really likes this one.)

Oh! And here's a non-vampire related sticker that just makes me laugh. Top 40 Hits!

I might make a few more into stickers or postcards if there's enough interest.

Vampires! Vampires eeeeeeeeeeverywhere!

A small sampling of the vampires drawn at last night's Dracula: Son of the Dragon Drink-n-draw event!

Xoxox to all the great artists who turned out to draw fanged creatures!

Great news! You can get a hand-drawn Sassquach vampire of your very own! For the low-low cost of an $8 contribution to the Dracula: Son of the Dragon Kickstarter, a vampire will be lovingly crafted on sturdy white stock and mailed to your home. In for a bargain? You can get 3 unique drawings for $20! There's only four days left in the campaign, so order one while you can!

Come to the Los Angeles Drink-n-Draw this Thursday at 8pm! (Casey's Pub, 613 S Grand Ave)

Lots of vampires will be drawn! All in support of Dracula: Son of the Dragon! If you ask nicely, I'll draw you a picture of Gary Oldman in a velvet frock coat.

HEAR YE! HEAR YE!

Super pal and graphic novelist MARK SABLE is Kickstarting this super cool book, DRACULA: SON OF THE DRAGON. There's dragons and vampires and HISTORY! Are you poopin' in your pants yet? Well, there's more! This Kickstarter comes with a heap of great rewards to choose from: leather bound editions, original art, prints...oh, there's just too much! (All the best Kickstarters have art as rewards, don't you know?)

They even have retailer bundle rewards! You can get Mark and Salgood to come do a signing at your store!

Personally, I decided to choose the reward where Mark consults you on a script. Mark is the first guy who ever read my work in its entirety and his advice is spot on. If you write scripts and were thinking about getting coverage on a project, why not just hire him? Support the artistic community and get some solid gold pointers in one fell swoop.
